Art After School

Arts imPACt is an after school program designed to stimulate a child’s creativity and capacity to explore their own artistic originality and cultural background. Artists will learn a variety of art-making techniques, which may include drawing, cartooning, and mixed media construction. Everyone will be taught and encouraged to try new approaches to working and expressing their own creativity. Art-making develops:

  • Fine motor skills
  • Early literacy
  • Self expression

We have experienced art instructors who will guide and adapt to the interests of children at many different levels and interests. Young artists will work on individual projects that they will take home by the end of the session and will also collaborate with other students on group projects. PAC is dedicated to fostering creativity not only in the individual child, but also within the school environment. Expanding the partnership beyond a weekly class and into community projects such as, in school murals, and/or exhibitions are all opportunities for future collaboration.
